Indian Army 10+2 Technical Entry Scheme 2025 - Age Limit & Eligibility Criteria
- Age Limit: Candidates must be at least 16½ years and not more than 19½ years as on 1 January 2026 (born between 2 July 2006 and 1 July 2009, both dates inclusive).
- Marital Status: Only unmarried male candidates are eligible.
- Nationality:
- Citizen of India, or
- Subject of Nepal, or
- Person of Indian origin migrated from specified countries with eligibility certificate from Govt. of India.
- Educational Qualification:
- Passed 10+2 (Intermediate) or equivalent with a minimum of 60% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (PCM) from a recognized board.
- Must have appeared in JEE Mains 2025.
Indian Army 10+2 Technical Entry Scheme 2025 - Selection Process
- Shortlisting: Candidates will be shortlisted based on their marks in PCM (10+2) and JEE Mains 2025 score.
- SSB Interview: Shortlisted candidates will be called for Services Selection Board (SSB) Interview.
- Medical Examination: Candidates recommended by SSB will undergo a medical examination.
- Final Merit List: Final selection will be based on merit, subject to medical fitness and availability of vacancies.

Additional Notes
- There is no limit on the number of attempts as long as the candidate fulfills the age criteria.
- Only male candidates are eligible for this entry.
- Selected candidates will undergo four years of training, including award of an Engineering degree and commission as Lieutenant upon successful completion.
- Stipend during training: ₹56,100 per month (as per NDA cadets after 3 years of training).
- On commissioning, the pay scale will be as per Level 10 of the pay matrix (CTC approx. ₹17-18 lakh per annum, excluding allowances).
