Selection Process
Four Stage Examination Process:
- Stage-I: Preliminary Examination
- One Paper (150 marks)
- Syllabus: Arithmetic, Data Interpretation, Logical Reasoning, Current Affairs, Computer Awareness, Odisha-related topics
- Negative marking: 0.25 marks per wrong answer
- Stage-II: Main Written Examination
- Language Paper (100 marks) - Odia & English
- Syllabus: Comprehension, Precis Writing, Usage & Vocabulary, Translation
- Stage-III: Skill Tests
- Computer Skill Test (50 marks) - For all posts
- Stenography Test (50 marks) - For Junior Stenographer posts
- Typing Test (50 marks) - For Junior Grade Typist & Typist-cum-Scribe Assistant
- Stage-IV: Certificate Verification
Final Merit Calculation:
- For Junior Stenographer: Main Written (100) + CST (50) + Stenography (50) = 200 marks
- For Junior Grade Typist/Typist-cum-Scribe: Main Written (100) + CST (50) + Typing (50) = 200 marks
