- Age Limit (as on 01.05.2025):
- Minimum: 18 years
- Maximum: 26 years (Candidates must be born between 01.05.1999 and 01.05.2007)
- Age Relaxation:
- SC/ST: 5 years
- OBC (Non-Creamy Layer): 3 years
- Persons with Benchmark Disabilities: 10 years

- Educational Qualification:
- Passed 10th Standard (S.S.C./Matriculation) or equivalent from a recognized board
- Proficiency in the local language of the State/Union Territory (ability to read, write, and speak)
- Nationality/Citizenship:
- Must be a citizen of India, or a subject of Nepal/Bhutan, or a Tibetan refugee who arrived in India before 1st January 1962, or a person of Indian origin from specified countries with the intention of permanent settlement (subject to eligibility certificate from Government of India)
- Online Test: Consists of 100 questions on English, General Knowledge, Basic Maths, and Reasoning, lasting 80 minutes. Negative marking applies for wrong answers.
- Local Vernacular Language Test: Candidates who qualify in the online test must demonstrate proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking the local language of the applied State/Union Territory. Passing this test is mandatory for final selection.
Note: Final selection will be based on marks scored in the online test, subject to passing the language proficiency test.
