Physical Standards
  • Height:
    • Male: Minimum 157 cm
    • Female: Minimum 152 cm
  • Physical Fitness Test (PFT):
    • For Male Candidates:
      • 1.6 km run in 6 min 30 sec
      • 20 Squats (Uthak Baithak)
      • 15 Push-ups
    • For Female Candidates:
      • 1.6 km run in 8 min
      • 15 Squats (Uthak Baithak)
      • 10 Push-ups
  • Medical Standards:
    • No permanent tattoos except on inner forearms and back of the hand.
    • Must be in good physical and mental health.
    • Vision Standard: "6/6, 6/9 correctable with glasses."
Eligibility Criteria
  • Educational Qualification:
    • 10+2 with Mathematics & Physics and at least 50% marks from a recognized board.
    • OR a Three-year Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical/Electrical/Computer Science/IT, etc.) with 50% marks.
    • OR a Two-year Vocational Course with Physics & Mathematics and 50% marks.
  • Age Limit:
    • Agniveer 02/2025: Born between "01 Sep 2004 – 29 Feb 2008".
    • Agniveer 01/2026: Born between "01 Feb 2005 – 31 Jul 2008".
    • Agniveer 02/2026: Born between "01 Jul 2005 – 31 Dec 2008".
  • Marital Status: Only "unmarried" male and female candidates are eligible.
Selection Process
  • Stage I – INET (Indian Navy Entrance Test):
    • Computer-based test with 100 questions (English, Science, Mathematics, and General Awareness).
    • Duration: 1 hour.
    • Negative marking: 0.25 marks per wrong answer.
  • Stage II – Physical Fitness Test (PFT) & Written Exam:
    • Male: 1.6 km run in 6 min 30 sec, 20 squats, 15 push-ups.
    • Female: 1.6 km run in 8 min, 15 squats, 10 push-ups.
    • Written exam (100 questions, 1-hour duration).
  • Stage III – Medical Examination: Final selection based on medical fitness.
