- Age Limit:
- 20 to 27 years as on 01 Jan 2026
- Born between 02 Jan 1999 and 01 Jan 2006
- Age calculated based on Matriculation certificate
- Nationality:
- Citizen of India, or
- Subject of Nepal, or
- Person of Indian origin with eligibility certificate
- Educational Qualification:
- Passed Engineering Degree or in final year
- Final year candidates must submit proof by 01 Jan 2026
- Marital Status: Unmarried male candidates only
- Shortlisting: Based on cutoff percentage for each engineering stream
- SSB Interview:
- Conducted at Selection Centres
- Two-stage process (5 days duration)
- Medical Examination: For recommended candidates
- Final Merit List: Prepared stream-wise based on SSB marks

- Application Mode: Online only at joinindianarmy.nic.in
- Steps:
- Register/Login on the portal
- Fill application form under 'Technical Graduate Course'
- Submit after verifying all details
- Take printout of submitted application
- Documents Required:
- Matriculation certificate (for age proof)
- Engineering degree/provisional certificate
- All semester marksheets
- CGPA to percentage conversion certificate
- Important Notes:
- Only one application per candidate allowed
- Multiple applications will lead to cancellation
- No changes allowed after final submission
- Aadhaar card and matriculation certificate mandatory for registration

- Candidates must not marry during training period
- Training duration is approximately 12 months at IMA, Dehradun
- Selected candidates will get Permanent Commission as Lieutenant
- One year ante-date seniority will be granted
- Stipend during training: ₹56,100/- per month
- Withdrawal from training may require refund of training cost
- Final allocation of Arms/Services at Army's discretion
- Carry all original documents for SSB interview
